# Ciao Babe

> Ciao Babe is Chef Niko Diamantopoulos's Italian stall inside Avanti Food and Beverage in LoHi, Denver, next to his Berliner Haus stall. Tagline: "Italian Soul. Zero Apologies." Opened June 25, 2026, and dedicated to Niko's father, Dimitri. Ingredients are imported from Italy weekly.

## The menu (from the stall's board at Avanti)

- Schiacciata sandwiches, $17 to $20: Florentine flatbread sandwiches, handheld first. The Truffle Babe (porchetta, stracciatella, truffle) is $20 and carries the board. The Firenze Babe is the Florentine classic. Sandwiches are built layer by layer: schiacciata, a thick stracciatella smear, meats sliced thin and piled high (porchetta, mortadella, prosciutto), arugula, pistachio.
- Roman pastas, $15 to $19: carbonara and cacio e pepe, served plated or in a sealed walking cup with a fork.
- Cones and snacks, $6 to $16: fried cones and Roman street snacks built for one hand.
- Dolci: Tiramisu $7. Affogato $6.
- Formats: sandwiches and cones in hand; the Babe Box for groups and tables; sealed cups to go.

## Coming soon (in testing, not on the menu yet)

- The Trapizzino: Rome's sealed pizza pocket.
- Tiny Babes: a dozen mini schiacciata bites in one box.
- The bisque line: Riso alla Babe (bisque worked into rice, risotto style), bisque pasta, and a bisque shooter.
- Take home: bisque by the quart, pasta and sauce by the pint, a Schiacciata Kit for two.

## The Babe Club (SMS)

- Members get club-only specials and prices, first word on new items before they hit the board, flight night alerts, and a birthday treat.
- Signup is on the page: mobile number plus consent. Texts run 2 to 6 a month. Reply STOP to end. Joining is never a condition of purchase.

## Catering

- Schiacciata platters for offices, Babe Boxes for parties and events. Request form on the page: name, phone or email, date, headcount, notes. The stall replies with a plan and a price.

## Pairing at the bar

- Avanti Food and Beverage holds the hall liquor license; the stalls do not pour. Ciao Babe publishes pairing matches (for example, a spritz with the Truffle Babe, a crisp Italian white with the carbonara, a spritz pitcher with the Babe Box) and guests order the pour at Avanti's bar. Flight Nights with the bar are coming soon; club members hear first.
